1-Step Binning for LED Color Uniformity
By adopting 1-Step binning (1 SDCM) LEDs, chromaticity tolerance is strictly controlled within one MacAdam Step at the source.
The tighter binning process concentrates LED color coordinates more precisely, effectively reducing overall color variation across the strip and improving consistency between production batches, ensuring closer color matching among new strips.
With the minimized tolerance, excellent color uniformity can still be maintained even when fewer LEDs are used or when light mixing is limited, helping prevent visible color patches or shifts.
It also delivers cleaner and more uniform illumination in shallow aluminum profiles, narrow channels, or direct-view applications where mixing distance is restricted.
