1 Step 1 Bin represents the highest level of color consistency control.
All 2835 LED models are available with 1-step binning (1 SDCM), providing tight color tolerance within one MacAdam Step.
The tighter binning process concentrates LED color coordinates more precisely, effectively reducing overall color variation across the strip and improving consistency between production batches, ensuring closer color matching among new strips.
With the minimized tolerance, excellent color uniformity can still be maintained even when fewer LEDs are used or when light mixing is limited, helping prevent visible color patches or shifts.
It also delivers cleaner and more uniform illumination in shallow aluminum profiles, narrow channels, or direct-view applications where mixing distance is restricted.
Ideal for professional linear lighting projects requiring high color consistency and visual uniformity.
LED Color Consistency Chart (1-Step vs 3-Step SDCM)
| 2700K: 1-SDCM ±30 (2695~2755k) | 3-SDCM ±115 (2615~2845k) |
| 3000K: 1-SDCM ±35 (3010~3080k) | 3-SDCM ±125 (2925~3175k) |
| 3500K: 1-SDCM ±40 (3425~3505k) | 3-SDCM ±160 (3310~3630k) |
| 4000K: 1-SDCM ±45 (3940~4030k) | 3-SDCM ±187 (3805~4180k) |
| 5000K: 1-SDCM ±70 (4960~5100k) | 3-SDCM ±267 (4775~5310k) |
| 6500K: 1-SDCM ±87 (6450~6625k) | 3-SDCM ±337 (6210~6885k) |
The diagram shows 1-Step and 3-Step MacAdam tolerance across CCTs.
1-Step (1 SDCM) binning ensures higher batch consistency and superior color uniformity.
